About Mark Carter II, Founder & CEO
Mark Carter grew up in University Place, Washington where he still resides today. Mark spent his entire adolescence and has spent his entire adult life working in construction, amounting to over 20 years of construction experience. Mark proved himself at the ripe age of 16 when he picked up a small-scale general contracting project. That project quickly turned into a much larger project after he impressed the store owner with a skillset and breadth of knowledge that seemed well beyond his age. Over the years, Mark has earned a reputation for quality work, integrity, transparency, thoroughness and professionalism. Field crew and employees have come to know Mark as “Mr. 100 Percent!” – both an accolade and fun nickname for a phrase he often uses. Mark’s company and life motto – “Do it right or don’t do it at all” – is embraced by every crew member and employee, defining the cornerstone of Chambers Bay company culture.
