REPAIRS: Rot Repair, Exterior Repairs, Exterior Paint

We were initially called by this customer to investigate a rot issue on a sunroom. They had bad experiences with previous contractors, so understandably, they put off much needed home repairs. For example, the structure of the sunroom had gotten so rotten that I was able to bury the full length of my arm in the wall through the studs. Fortunately, they felt comfortable with our team and hired us to do the repair. We completed the project in the time frame we agreed to and on budget. They were so thrilled about how seamless the process was that they continued to hire us for projects over the next 6 years.

Their home was beautiful, but the exterior Cape Cod style did not match the interior of the home. It was disjointed. So, they hired us to update their entire home. We installed a 2×6 aromatic deck, complete with a custom fire bowl, and we even duplicated and rebuilt their favorite Adironback chairs! The photos capture the before and after kitchen remodel, which lead to finding the dreaded rot that is so common in the Pacific Northwest.

As a result of the rot, the adjacent room had to be partially demolished. The customer did not mind; in fact, they took it as an opportunity to remodel their library and lower guest room. The crown jewel of this home’s many projects was the master bathroom remodel. The customer sent us a picture of her dream bathroom and we went right to work on it. We were able to give her exactly what she wanted from that one photo alone. After we finished the remodel, she walked in and gasped.  She said she couldn’t believe that her picture had come to life. Chambers Bay did make a few adjustments that we felt were necessary, but every choice was aligned with her vision.
