Main Living Floor and Master Bath Remodel, University Place
REMODELS: – Kitchen – Living Room – Entry Room – Family Room – Dining Room – Powder Room – Master Bathroom
The main floor of this home was completely updated. The kitchen was comprised of the typical 1980’s style dark cabinetry. The floors were covered in old carpet and golden oak hardwoods. The upstairs master bathroom was well-cared-for, but it needed an upgrade from a style that was very 1985!
The first objective on the project was “demo demo demo!” Demolition is always the fun part. Once the old materials were removed, we discovered that the home was very well built! It made our job a lot easier in the rebuild. Chambers Bay worked directly with the homeowners to hone in on their design and material selections.
This project featured the durable and custom Bellmont 1900 series cabinets, both solid quartz and natural stone countertops, and custom tiling for both the kitchen and master bathroom. We added to and refinished the hardwood floor to more modern and rich brown tones. The customers chose to upgrade and update the gas fireplaces as well. The master bathroom features heated tile floors, shower glass with rain shield technology, Hans Grohe bath fixtures, and under mounted tub with a quartz top that extends into the shower to create a bench.
